Calculus is difficult by default, but Dugas makes the concepts easier to understand than other profs. It's not hard to get a good grade because the grades are cushioned by homework (20%) and participation (15%). The midterms are difficult but if you study you'll be fine. He is also very willing to help students in office hours.
i came to this class just to look at him (he is so pretty!), and did really poorly on the midterms, but ended up acing the class due to working hard for the final -- so do well on the finals in his class and you'll be good.
Really clear and easy to understand lectures. Tests are not too bad and not many curve balls. Go to lecture, take notes, and you will do well.
His class is interesting. His book is really bad.
He writes big on the board which helps and answers questions well. Tests were for the most part straight forward. Good prof overall though and made things pretty clear.
He's not a bad teacher, just basically repeats the stuff in the book. Doesn't take any sympathy in grading and i had a really hard TA who graded everything and would accept nothing less than a crystal clear flawless proof.
He's alright. Though he seems disinterested
