Some in-class work and readings you don't really need to do - 33%; 1 super easy midterm of terms and 3 essays (which she provides the week before) - 33%; 1 super easy essay - 34%. That's this class in a nutshell and she is a GREAT teacher, if a bit unstructured. However, you WILL learn and you will really like her. She's a sweetheart. GREAT.

She's a very nice, friendly, and helpful teacher. A lot of reading materials so manage your time well. Homework's based on your reading, due once every week. No quizzes, just 1 midterm and 1 final, plus 1 short paper. I wouldn't mind taking her again. Grading: Homework & Participation 30%, Midterm 25%, Short paper 20%, Final 25%.
