One of the most interesting professors at UCSB. Supposedly his last quarter teaching at UCSB is Winter 2010. I would recommend taking whatever he teaches. Although ethics was really difficult, he was really interesting. I ended up getting a B in the class.

One of the sickest professors at all of UCSB. This guy is super cool. The class is a little out there and hard to understand at first, but after the first paper it all comes together and has a lasting impact. Excellent class

env ethics: uhhh not what you'd expect. arbitrary information... no real clear cut direction he was taking us in.. just gave random info not all related. tough grader. surfer.. he is a nice guy and smart- but i felt like he talks down to the students

This class was all about philosophy and history, and little to do with environmental ethics. He teaches as if everyone has a thorough knowledge of philosophy. Grades hard on the papers, and section is mandatory.
