She is a little biased in her opinions however she is very liberal and causing students to think outside of the box. Makes you wonder and question the world around her. Go to class, participate and do your work and you will get an A.

Great professor, she is helpful and the disscusions and debates are interesting. Very easy class if you go and do the work.

Excellent teacher! I have to say much of what she teaches is based on opinion, which might anger some people, but she's also very respectful of people's beliefs and always finds time to listen to differing opinions. I disagreed with her on some stuff, but still got an A, so that's proof. Paper a week and interesting readings. Easy!

Works instructor at UCSB. Jumps to conclusions, makes plagiarism accusations without doing her research. Still a graduate student learning.

Any class you take it doesn't matter...just a great person and teacher who truly wants students to do well in the class. Do the work and go to class and you can get an A! Very kind person and interesting topics!

This was a special topics class taught in the summer regarding "Body Size". She taught it with Nat Pyle. The class and material were very engaging and surely affected everyone's lives. 2 short midterm papers, a group project, and weekly journal entries about the reading.

She's great. Nat, the TA is horrible!!!
