Kobin was a really great professor. He was clear and was very knowledgeable of the subjects we discussed. Linguistics is difficult but I loved this class and I switched my major to Linguistics because of it. He got a job abroad though so he won't be teaching anymore.

He was my TA for LING20 but he's teaching the class next quarter, which is great because he was more helpful than the professor. His reviews helped me understand the material because he's clear and gives good examples.

Great professor, has a cute sense of humor. He and the TA's are more than willing to help. Lectures online, no book, points for homework. Didn't know what linguistics was before I took the class but am glad I did.

Lectures are kind of like summaries/outlines of the readings that are posted online, in place of using textbooks. There is homework online and you have to turn in some homework once a week in class. Professor Kendrick and the T.A.'s are friendly and approachable.
