Longo was often short with students and unclear in her teachings. Her assigned readings are the focal point of the class and many times the most or all of class lectures consisted of her explaining the readings interpretations of the work. Her final exam was worthless and was required memorization of 100 or so pages of readings and photos. Hated it

Despite previous comments, Professor Longo is unclear, impatient, uses unnecessarily, over-elaborated words, and is overall an awful teacher! Avoid taking her if you can.

I took this class just because I needed a seminar, I never had any interest in archiving but that has changed! It turned out to be a lot of fun, and lots of hands on work- the first film class where I ever touched actual film. Great summer class!

Great teacher! She's really passionate and incredibly smart, plus she makes class fun. Pretty freakin' hot, too.

Extremely helpful and interesting teacher. Sooo glad she taught this class.
