Ramsey is one of the nicest professors I've had at UCSB. The classroom environment is very laid back and friendly. I feel like I learned more practical things in this class than almost any other class I've taken at UCSB. Ramsey is pretty clear on what he wants out of assignments. But he isn't the easiest grader in the world. I got an A-

Ramsey was awesome! It was a lot of work (2 essay assignments per week) but he always allows revisions. He is a very constructive grader and extremely helpful. Overall, a very passionate professor with lots of great insight.

Extremely helpful and kind professor. Class is def. not an easy A at all. Hes very picky about grammatical stuff, but if you take the time to go to office hours and bring him rough drafts he will basically proofread the whole thing. MOST IMPORTANT part of class is going to office hours. Constantly go to him for feedback on the group project.

Don't take this class unless you like to write! Great teacher! He really cares about students and his writing topics are engaging but writing becomes exhausting towards the end.

Ramsey was one of my favorite professors to date. SUPER helpful and very interested in each and every student, he will grade you fairly and take the time to show you how you can do better.

I am a Junior at UCSB majoring in Bus/Econ. Mr. Ramsey is one of the best teachers I have had thus far. He is an extremely helpful and kind man. Take him if you have the oppurtunity!

Professor Ramsey was very nice and helpful. Fairly straight-forward class but random topics. Not an automatic A because you do need to put in effort. I didn't put that much effort in and managed to get a B

Professor Ramsey is AWESOME! He's such a nice guy, and really wants students to do well. The class is not easy, but if you put an appropriate amount of effort into the assignments you will do well. Definitely see him in his office hours, he is very helpful! And pray that you get put into a good business plan group otherwise you'll hate life.

I thought I was going to get an A in this class for sure and ended up with an A-. Ramsey is very helpful and approachable. Don't expect an easy A, but if you put the work in, you'll get a fair grade.

Very clear, takes great care to explain the assignments, which are not difficult but do require time and thought. Down to earth professor, one of my favorites at UCSB

He is such a nice professor. He is always willing to help students. Take advantage of his extra office hours. The assignments that he assigns are pretty easy and he gives a lot of time to complete them, but you have to be willing to put time and effort into them if you want a good grade. Great professor!

Ramsey is the nicest professor i've ever met, he's very down to earth, willing to help students. The works he assigns are fairly easy. if you have adequate english writing skills, you should get an A without a sweat
