Excellent teacher, very funny and easy to understand.

first off he acts like a TA and not a lecturer: he just reads his notes to the class and that's all. he was hired to teach in English but his language skills are way below university level.

This class was extremely easy. The tests were simple and straight from his notes and the 2 page paper was based on your own opinion. He was never late or disrepectful, as previously stated. Showed enthusiasm for the subject matter and his students!

Pio is clear in his classes and what he wants from his students, but he can be very rude. I worked hard in the class and did well, but not without abuse! I have left his class in tears from his pointed, unfair and biased criticisms, which can be really hard to deal with, esp. when he singles you out.

i felt discriminated throughout the quarter, he definitely hates mexicans and hispanics in general and is not afraid to show it. he is authoritarian and does not like to discuss other's points of views and interpretations of the text.

he came in HALF AN HOUR LATE in absolutely all classes of October and during that month he taught only the few students who waited until he arrived to the classroom. not only he has horrible language skills, he seems to not care about the students at all.
