Prof Yegul is extremely knowledgeable about the subject and will sometimes rant on about the history. He tends to focus more on architecture than art since that is his specialty. The honors section was very easy and required hardly any supplemental work
Midterm was easy. Pretty much alot of memorizing. Midterm had 10 T/F questions, a easy argument essay (disscusion), 10 pictures (memorize the info) and 5 vocabulary. Final is pretty much the same.

This class made me become an art history major believe it or not! Can't say anything about Yegul personally; I never spoke with him. Section is REALLY crucial for getting an A. I thought the period was SUPER interesting &, maybe it's just me, but the memorization seemed to come pretty naturally. Class repetition TREMENDEOUSLY helped prep for tests!
*Yegul* is not a great lecturer, and the reading is not needed to get good exam grades. the Material is otherwise just average. He's not very respectful, he threw a tantrum during our final and threw a girl out of the class, yelling "I can do whatever I want!" He obvisouly thinks he's better than everyone else-even though we pay his salary. A-hole
read the book once, go to lectures, and go to the sections. you'll be guaranteed a good grade if you do all of these and actually pay attention because they all pretty much repeat the same thing over and over again. i read once, then yeguel repeats whats in the book and sections elaborate what yeguel says. just be prepared for memorizing artwork
