GONZALES-SMIT
She is a passionate teacher, directions are hard to follow, gets off track, and grading is not standardized among students and the quality of work.
Professor Gonzales is a sweet lady and is passionate about the material. I had her for SPAN 189, with only a few of enrolled in, so the class itself was very intimate which also made communication with the professor easy. Her grading is clear, but the assignments imo are disorganized. I would take her again!!
Grading inconsistent. Directions unclear. Very rude.
Called a girl in my group a Burra. Appears to be at least the second time she has done this.
She is inconsistent not only across assignments but students as she has clear favoritism issues. She also seemed to grade based on feelings and not an objective standard. Also had to ask multiple questions and speak about my exams to get any type of reason as to why points were docked.
While I got a good grade in the class this professor was discriminative and chose favorites. She put others down when she disagreed or let her personal opinions get in the way. She would call people out during and after class for obscene things making students feel degraded and helpless. She also would grade very subjectively rather than objective.
