One of the best profs I have ever had. Lectures were extremely interesting, but, because the entire grade was based on a paper (w/ topic of your own choosing) and reading journals, totally optional. Still went to most, though, because she was a fantastic teacher. Really helpful and super friendly - I can't recommend her or this class enough!
i loved liz. she's SO smart, classy and confident. there's a lot of reading on a lot of different topics but it's because it's an intro to women's studies class. i also loved my TA, danielle lafrance. woohoo!
I loved this class. If you are interested in the subject, the class is really easy. All we were required to do was read one book and there was a reader. I didn't even read the book and got a B on the midterm. The two papers are very easy. I highly reccommend this class. She does move very fast, but she is always available to help when you need it.
I absolutely hated this class! THe professor lectures so fast and there is a ton of reading... My TA wasn't that good either so it was really boring and I hated it. I took it pass/not pass so I wouldn't have to study for the final because it was that bad.
The class itself was relatively easy. There is a lot of reading, but she basically covers every main point of each reading in lecture, so you can easily get by without doing it. 2 papers, both of which are fun and creative. Mid-term and final are also pretty easy and straightforward. Recommended.
This professor is a good one! Though her lectures can go pretty fast, she mostly goes over the readings (so you don't have to read that many of them), and the content is pretty interesting. There are 2 papers for this class, and the exams are all essay but still pretty straight forward and easy. I would recommend this class!
