She definitely has an insightful grasp on the Canterbury Tales, but be prepared to close read *every* lecture. She's kind of all over the place and I'm leaving feeling I have a couple facts rather than an understanding. Definitely spreads you thin by the end.
She was very nice and helpful. Although The Canterbury Tales can get a little thick at times, she really makes sure everyone understands what's going on. Having to do a graded peer edit on the first paper was a little middle school, but she's such a reasonable grader that it's worth it. Go to office hours for help on your paper.
This class is so ridiculous. Prof. doesn't know what she's talking about. Even if you like Chaucer, it will bore you to tears. Endless "close readings" feel like middle school, she even requires a peer-edited rough draft of essays, for a grade! I guess she's nice but I would stay away...
Very helpful and one of the nicest teachers I've ever met. She knows what she's saying, and she's young enough to pay attention to! Wow, I just ended a sentence with a preposition!
