Took her online and she is very unclear on what she wants in her essays. When you email her questions for help her replys are often rude or vague. Once I emailed her a paper asking if I can turn it in late, labeled what the assignment was with the course number etc, and her reply was "Im not sure what this is or for what course" ?????

i got an A on the first paper, and did decently in the class, but a majority of the class got very, very low grades largely due to her inability to clearly explain what she wants from students. she has the uncanny ability to turn what one would assume to be an immensely interesting topic into a task more monotonous than watching paint dry.

The assignments are nearly impossible to figure out and after you turn in the paper, she tells you it was wrong and grades ridiculously.She makes a very interesting subject boring & tedious. The presentations in the class were to explain all chapters, but isn't that a teachers job? I highly recommend not taking her class to save your GPA and time.

Her essay topics are very broad and isn't clear about what she wants until after your essay is graded. She spends less than half the quarter teaching. Expects students to teach the class with group presentations as if we know what she wants us to teach- isn't that a professors job?? The class can be interesting but she needs a new method of teachin

She made social movements not fun. Her assignments were ridiculous and she isn't clear about what she wants. I was very excited about the class, but she made it horrible and much harder than it needed to be. I would not recommend her at all.

Be prepared to absolutely work your @ss off. She makes this class SO much harder than it has to be.
