Best teacher I've had at UCSB. Super funny. Challenged my intuition. Made me think in ways I never had.
Great professor. Extremely funny- made math my favorite class that quarter. Not the easiest professor in the world- relatively difficult to succeed without a lot of studying and ingenuity; Good luck (if he ever comes back!) book is used simply for extra practice, independent of the class
Solid dude, kept it interesting and made as much sense of the material as he could. Was a little too attractive for my taste though, it was hard to focus.
Super hard but learned a lot
was extremely hard for me but he was a nice guy and really helped out and kept things fun.
Pretty good teacher. Thankfully does not use the textbook, which is a terrible and worthless book (Concise introduction to pure mathematics), and he has a lot of insight into the subject. Knows a lot about pure mathematics and is always willing to answer questions.
Really easy to understand; keeps things streamlined, has what he's talking about down perfectly. Also really funny...
This has to be the easiest class to get an A in at UCSB. My final grade was 100.0%, and math is my worst subject. Got a C in highschool calc. ALL you need to do in this class is: 1) go to CLAS, (class is not needed whatsoever), and 2) MEMORIZE his practice tests/practice problems (not the hw)...these questions are identical to the midterms. = A+
The person who said this guy is hot must've rated the wrong professor! Shrek is a stud compared to this guy!
very smart and always helpful. terrible handwritting so you have to stay focused while he explains stuff then it is all good

Completely unable to learn from him as he was far too attractive, leaving me staring at him in a daze unable to notice anything he ever said or did.
