I was a bio major mainly taking MCDB classes but needed two EEMB classes - I had no interest in plants at all but this class turned out to be really interesting! The camping trip was amazing! Levine is an awesome prof that teaches, what I thought would be a really boring subject, in a very interesting way.

The class is an introduction to Ecology, so you really can't expect much. Levine is a well respected researcher but you wouldnt be able to tell my listening to him in class. It is hard to understand what he is trying to teach you, and his grammer is embarrassing. Rely on the powerpoints, the test questions directly from there.

He's an assistant professor, but he is amazing. Such a great teacher and class. His lectures are entertaining and easy to comprehend and his tests are really fair. I would definitely recommend taking this class or any he offers.
