Great teacher. Almost always available outside of office hours. Spanish 6 was challenging for me but I went to her before tests and for essay help and she made everything so easy to understand. She wants to see everyone do well. She has a good sense of humor and relates to her students. Not too strict either.

Great teacher- very patient, helpful and knowledgeable. Also very flexible with students and willing to dedicate time to help during office hours. Course was really fun- we covered so many great topics, I was never bored. Go to class, do the readings and participate and you will do great. Reader is essential

She is a very nice lady, however, be prepared to hear many liberal remarks and bias. The Reader is ABSOLUTELY mandatory and the articles are tedious and long. There are 8 papers total which make up the majority of your grade. The TA for this class is horrible so be prepared to be graded low.

Wonderful teacher! She helps whenever someone asks for it and makes sure that everyone understands the material. She is so nice and knows spanish very well.

Ilana is the best Spanish teacher ever! She knows her subject so well and has alot of patience and concern for her students. She speaks in Spanish the entire quarter, I found this extremely helpful in developing my skills. She is always available for office hours and she has a great passion for the language. I highly Recommend!

She is the cutest ever! And she totally knows her stuff. She takes extra time just to make sure that you know what your doing, even if her tests are kinda hard.

she was a flippin awesome TA and trust me, i know. i had already failed this dumb class with this moron TA, and was totally not psyched to take it again. however, she worked with me and i passed. she's totally approachable and way interested in actually helping you learn. it's not easy, but if you have her, it wont be unbearable. she's the best! :)
