Actually took FREN 1900, super chill and laid-back environment. Highly recommend, interesting class.

Professor Kilbane is a very knowledgeable, kind, and effective teacher. She's always prepared, and you can tell she's excited about what she's teaching. Her interest in the subjects is contagious! Although she works with many students, she will always find the time to help you too I could have never written my thesis without her guidance!

Great professor. Professional, well prepared, and makes class way more fun than it has to be. Super smart and inspiring too. Highly recommend her!!!

The best part about her class is that she teaches also a lot about French history and culture as well (usually in English). She's extremely personable and intelligent. Also, she is very accessible to students.
