Poor, sloppy lecturer. All over the place and difficult to understand and follow, and incredibly dull and boring. Inconsistent and doesn't give much help on the homework or labs, you'll get more help reading the book. Doesn't take much pleasure in teaching. Class is curved, so stay above average and you will be fine. Labs suck

He really knows his stuff. Don't fall behind, and go to his office hours for help. He really will take the time to help you out on any questions you have. Very approachable and overall a great professor. Tests were very hard, but curve is a B- around 50%; practice tests will be nothing like the actual tests. Best off not even looking at them.

A fantastic professor, and I couldn't have gotten a better start to my EE major. Prof. Shynk is just a swell guy, and the class is great. Do the work given and understand the example exam/final, and you can't fail.

Good teacher. HWs and exams are easy. But he was not able to explain some concepts clearly.

This teacher is great, he managed time well in the class, explian clearly. His tests are not hard as long as you do your own homeworks. Remember to go to TA offices, that really help!
