I took Colin's class during the summer. He gave great material to read, and was flexible with the course's direction. He rubbed me the wrong way a bit, had "favorites", and seemed to be able to put his foot down when problems arose. He gave great feedback on papers, and keep the class interesting. colin's a super enthusiastic and brilliant guy. he's always available to help students, and seems to pick readings that go beyond most people's exposure to different topics and subcultures. i highly suggest taking a class with him...he's got a lot of promise as an instructor...o yah and he's a hotter, younger version of hugh grant...

He never stops talking and he seems to look down on his students.

Really enjoyed his class. Assigned very interesting readings. Made the class less of a drag. Let us out early most of the time. Very enthusiastic about everything he is teaching. Has class discussions which further help you understand the material. Fair grader and is willing to help when you need it. Definitley recommend him.

I enjoyed the class quite a bit-- he graded fairly and he did a really good job in relating what we were learning to what is happening in the world, which i felt really helped out. Also, the papers weren't unreasonable by any means and he has a good sense of humor, but he is definitely a little nerdy... but in a good way, yes. Good class, overall.
