I wouldn't recommend taking Mark's classes unless you are really into art; it's not easy credits. He assigns a lot of homework and expects you to work hard all class. The materials list he gave us at the beginning of the semester was not very clear. Still, I am not sorry I took his class. The assignments have pushed me out of my comfort zone.

I LOVE MARK! He's hilariously funny.

Mark is great. I did not like his teaching method at first-he's so nonchalant and tended to not grade our first few projects. After having been in his class for the whole quarter, I now see why he did this. He grades our later work, once we know what we're doing. He's super funny, very helpful, and a dork, like we tend to be.
