I loved having Professor George. I'm not even a crim major and enjoyed going to her class. She cancelled class a bit, but we always made it up and stayed on schedule. She's a very understanding professor and wants you to pass. You do have to study and work for your grade though.
Molly is amazing! very passionate. whoever wrote a negative comment about this class apparently did not want to attend college. She is great!
She was nice and all, but it seemed like she hated lecturing. This basically could have been an online class, considering that she taught straight from the book. Showed a lot of video clips. Group work practically once a week was annoying.
I loved Molly. I am taking two more classes with her in the fall!
Very straight forward class. You have to turn in weekly one page response papers on the readings. Your grade consists of that plus a midterm paper and final paper as well as a cultural review of a museum or cultural event. No TESTS! Very easy class, but it was her first time teaching it and she taught right from the book so it was easy.
loved the class. tests were pretty straight forward, nothing comes out of left field. very helpful and encourages class participation.
Clear, has group quizzes, a bit tough on grading but focuses more on class participation. A lot of reading, requires taking notes on reading for use on quizzes.
Molly is an amazing professor! She is always willing to help if you need it, and she wants to see her students succeed. Take any class you can with her!
Sociology of Deviance: Interesting class. Good lectures. Too much reliance on the book and outlines of what defines a moral entrepreneur or the 5 stages of deciance construction.
great class, great teacher. she was organized and energetic. The tests were hard, but I learned a lot.
