This guy is great. He had to step in to cover for a sudden absence by the originally-scheduled teacher right before the quarter started and was an amazing lecturer. He is an interesting lecturer and deeply cares about the subject. If you can, TAKE HIS CLASSES! I am hoping (for everyone's sake) that he becomes a full time CS professor.

(Fall 2023) The class is entirely self-graded, so it's very much "what you put in is what you get out"; very easy to get an A. Granted, I don't remember much of the material, but the class made me very comfortable with matrices, which I feel like was the point. Really nice, though he could be math heavy (I'm a math guy so good for me I guess).

He has an amazing ability to be both mathematically precise and speak to the practical applications of the content. Fair and always answers student questions with clarity and respect. A wonderful teacher that I would whole-heartedly recommend for any class.

Great professor. Highly intelligent, capable of answering any questions you have, and extremely clear lecturer. Midterm was pretty fair, but his final was pretty difficult (has a decent curve though). Go to lecture, do your homework (AND understand it) - you'll be fine.

Excellent lecturer, nice guy, crystal clear explanations. Kept my attention every class and answered my questions directly and completely - couldn't ask for more !
