One of the best youll find here. We had 4 scrimmages (quizzes) 2- 50qst 2- 40qst. Lectures every class. Hand written notes only. Really simple Lectures to follow. Super interesting material. Book not mandatory. Last week we do physical activity in rec cen (group games) and video for credit. Hes a great guy, friendly and kind. Amazing professor!

Learned a lot from this professor. He was really helpful and always gave us really good advice. He's sweet and caring and I always left his class with something valuable. His tests were tricky at times. Overall a really nice guy.

Spaventa is a great guy who clearly cares about the well being of his students! This class was an interesting one and i'm sure everyone could gain something from the material. He only allows handwritten notes but its not so bad and material is easy to understand. 4 midterms & no final, I liked this because each test was on 2-3 lectures.

Loved being in his class. I don't know how anyone can dislike him, great man. I believe he's retiring soon which is unfortunate for anyone who wants to get the sports certificate.

There are 4 scrimmages(quizzes) and no final. He is an amazing teacher although the wording of his quizzes are sometimes a little difficult to understand. He is always ready to help! Learned so many things and always had interesting lectures! Definitely would recommend him!!!

Spaventa is just a really cool nice guy that teaches a Psych class that isn't in the department of Psych. His lectures are all powerpoint and he does NOT post the lecture slides online, the Midterm & Final are 9010 Lecture notesbook. The material was easy to grasp as long as you put in the due time and work in! Definitely recommend to anyone!

Professor Spaventa is fantastic. He keeps class interesting and diverse. We had a play day in the MAC, a meditation day, a movie day etc. Attendance is mandatory but lecture is interesting for the most part. He is also just ridiculously nice. The tests are NOT that hard. Prev. reviewers must have been confused? I would recommend this class.

Ill keep it simple the class is laid out like this. 10 % in class assignments, 5 % paper, 10 % quiz, 25 % mid term, 50 % final. I go to class every day and take good notes and still struggled on his 100 question mid term and final. Nice guy but he structures all the multiple choice questions like mind games and makes it much harder then it should b

Go to class and take good notes. I wouldn't buy the book, but review it in library before tests. He gives very easy in class assignments, so be there. But amazing man and very interesting class. He helps you apply it to your life. I wish I could have taken more of his classes.

Loved him!! It is a very interesting class and he makes you want to be there. He is great! Tests are somewhat difficult, I recommend you at least review the book. He is very helpful! You need to work for the A but a B is possible by just going to class (TAKE GOOD NOTES!) and opening the book a few times.
