This guy is really good. Very easy to talk to [not at all intimidating like some TA's or prof] and extremely helpful. His office hours were great and he was always willing to sit and chat for a while about the material. HAHA he likes football [soccer] too. one of the best TA's i've had at UCSB. His class was pretty easy and interesting
One of the easier philosophy classes, if you kinda like math. know how to do proofs! Way is an EXTREMELY helpful guy. super nice. his tests are very fair, and easy if you've done your homework and UNDERSTAND how to do the homework. don't really have to go to class, he posts all lec notes online. take him!!
He seems intimidated by the class, a bit nervous upfront. He had a few errors on his slideshow which was sort of irritating but it doesn't disturb the overall class material if the TA's correct him ( which they usually do). I went to class mainly to practice problems, DEFINATELY attend the TA sections! Dan Dolson's really good!
Great teacher. Logic is kind of like math with the letters p and q, but if you go to section (AND GET DAN DOLSEN!), attend lecture, and seek help when you need it, everything is great. Jonny Way is a very helpful professor and easy going.
good teacher. does powerpoint notes and posts them online so you dont have to take notes, you can just pay attention. everything in the class is pretty much clear and he's open to questions. pretty funny sometimes
Explains concepts clearly and is very nice about any questions, stupid or not. By far the most reasonable Philosophy person I have met.
His explanations are very clear, if you can understand what he's saying. His British accent is really hard to understand. And a total hottie!
