Wonderful professor. Very kind, very intelligent. The class itself is very straight forward: weekly quizzes, two small homework assignments, midterm, final. You must go to lectures to pass. Reading helps, but isnt super mandatory. If you memorize every image/artist/date you will do well on the midterm and final.

If you like British history, you'll live this class! The course mainly focuses on the Victorian era. The tests are fairly easy as long as you memorize names and dates and pay attention to the themes she presents in class. She is pretty upfront about what information you will need for the tests.

SUCH a great professor, she gave us 3 quizzes, counts only our 2 best, 1 midterm, 1 final. Go to class, do the readings, almost all of them are very easy to read. She is so passionate about the subject and her expectations are very realistic.

Ann is just adorable :) She is pretty tough but her enthusiasm helps you through the pain lol But seriously..she knows her stuff!!! To do well in her class you MUST do the readings and then on the test relate everything in a timeline fashion.

The hardest grader that I have had. She expects you to learn way too much for the midterm and the final. The brain can only hold so much info- She does not always have the correct names, dates and artists names of the art that she wants you to know, so you have double check everything.

She is extremely classy. Professor Bermingham is one of the best arthi professors i have ever had. She is super smart, and quick, and one of the best people all around.

great professor! emphasizes the history of a period and lets the art compliment it. very competent, interesting, and clear prof. essay tests aren't hard if you pay attention in class and attend. she i the reason i will minor in arthis

wonderful lecturer, fuses art and history together better than any other art history professor i've ever had. she can take the most boring topic and make you think that it is important and wortwhile. take a class from her if you can!

Professor Bermingham is the reason I became an art history major. I took a total of three classes with her and I think she's probably the best, most straight-forward and knowledgeable professor in the department.

Clear lectures, and good class, but you must do all your reading and it helps to prepare for class(she might call on you). Tests will cover material from reading.
