The most inspirational professor I've had in my entire college career. He is funny, engaging and extremely knowledgeable in economy, political science, geography and history. In other words, he is a walking encyclopedia. Moreover, he genuinely cares about his students and is approachable during office hour. Definitely take a course with him.

Prof. Cohen never disappoints! This was one class that I was never bored in. He always explained current events using the theories and topics we were required to know for his class, so it was an engaging learning experience. Prof. Cohen is very fair when it comes to workload and exams. Best professor in the department, in my opinion.

An AMAZING professor (and apparently one of the forefathers of IPE??)!! He only has one or two slides per lecture and that's all you need. His lectures are clear, easy to follow, and overall interesting. He is also gives these really funny/adorable anecdotes mid-lecture. I love him AND this class!

One of my favorite professors I've ever had in both the PoliSci department and at UCSB as a whole. He starts lecture off by letting us ask him about anything going on in current events. He is extremely knowledgable and has so much experience in his field so it's such a great chance to hear a professionals insights. I've learned a lot from his class
