As I sit and watch professor Romeo's last lecture that he will ever teach at UCSB, I honestly had hoped he would be here for one more year. Professor Romeo is going to be my all time favorite professor. He is so chill, and treats you like a friend and not a student. Hope he has a great retirement and has fun with his new grandchild. See ya prof.

I have had romeo for all of my sports classes, and Romeo and I have a pretty good relationship. Although its his last quarter, he's probably one of the best teachers you could've had at UCSB. Chill teacher that just wants to see you try, and everything else falls into place. Thanks for the sports classes romeo.

Classes are always interesting if you like sports and want a career in it. He can talk a lot and ramble at times but all you need to do is memorize powerpoints and you will do fine on quizzes! (he drops lowest score too!) really great class and I've taken every class he teaches with at least a B+ grade.

He is such a nice guy! He's passionate about the subject. He genuinely cares about his students and is easy to ask questions to.The material can get pretty boring if you've been introduced to it already but he's a great guy to take the class with. The book isn't needed.Just follow his powerpoints and go to the review sessions, you'll be good to go.

Structured as stated in the comments below. Almost no work required. Quizzes are simple memorization from lecture slides. Tests are a little tricky, but the class is graded on an extremely generous curve. The quiz reviews are really helpful too. Easy if you want a B, a little bit of effort for an A

Romeo is really nice but the class is hard. There is one midterm, one final, 3 quizzes, and a presentation on an article. The tests are extremely difficult and it isn't necessary to read the textbooks but make sure you read the slides and articles he posts. His 130 class is a lot easier.
