Although it was a lot of memorizing of fishes, I actually loved Bob's class. He is obviously very passionate about what he does. If you use proper strategy and only study the things that were discussed and also like fish you will do well. I thought I flunked but I ended up with an A?
This was the HARDEST class I have EVER taken at ANY school. The class was useless and you had to memorize 100s of fish names, common names, scientific names, and 5 characteristics for EACH fish!!! I HATE FISH NOW! If you are not a fish lover then you should NOT take thi class. STAY AWAY! Tests are very unfair, lab is EXTREMELY tough..NEXTTIME!!
Warning: Unless you want to sit in a chair and memorize 100s of fish...or your dream is to open a fishery one day....or your a professional scuba diver....or you just love nothing more in the world than fish, STAY AWAY FROM THIS CLASS......don't say i didn't warn you
Evoultionary Medicine is taught by Bob, Armand Kuris and Bill Meller. The class is fabulous. I took it because bob was teaching it. The three of them teach well together and are always cracking jokes. The class is small and discussion based. Very well taught and interesting
Bob is fabulous in this class. He's super into it and gives great examples. The class is interesting but much more so with him as a teacher
bob is one of my favourite profs - easy going and has a great sense of humour - i wanted to fail the class so i could take it again next year - but he's on sobatical - so i did well instead - take this class - esp if bob's teaching it
Bob is amazing. He keeps things intresting and presents them in a way that in understandable. He knows his**** but he also makes the class funny. I found that he is very helpful if you go talk to him. I'm taking his class next quarter because he is teaching it.

Great course, but Warner seems conceited and unapproachable.
Warner is great! This class (animal behavior) is very interesting and laid back. His tests are very straight forward. I'm taking his other class (eemb 106) mainly because he is teaching it. I love his fish shirts too!
