I couldn't attend lecture this quarter due to sports practice in the morning, so I relied solely on textbook and recorded lectures. Besides like the one point on each test where he drops a question about something he said in lecture the tests are all things you should know if you put the time in to study.

Bob is passionate about accounting but there is a lot you need to do outside of class to truly understand the material. Definitely attend lecture to get free answers to questions on the tests.

Paid tuition to have 3 hours per week listening to him talk random nonsense. Midterm and Final take up 70% of the grade and quizzes take 25%. No test resources, the only paper you find on Canvas is from 20 years ago, which doesn't help at all, since MCQs in the test are basically testing about his ramblings on the lecture. Ruined my whole quarter.

Didn't love him, but he teaches you accounting. Go to class as to not miss the trivia he puts on the tests. Class was difficult, but with proper studying and practice, you can definitely get an A. It's clear what to expect on exams, even if he throws in random curveballs.

Overall, this class gave me a good foundation for accounting basics. But I feel like his lecture style will not be everyone's cup of tea. He goes on lots of tangents to answer the most basic questions. Although lecture attendance isn't mandatory, you should go, as he mentions things in lectures that he doesn't in his prerecorded lectures.

Didn't love him, in fact I think he's a bit full of himself, but he makes you learn accounting. Not easy for sure but you learn a lot. Go to class or you'll miss his trivia that is on the tests. Watch all videos and read whole textbook. Understand HW. Study & practice. With this combo you can snag an A.

You will learn a lot. Just watch the pre lecture videos ON TIME and show up to class. Yes he goes on tangents about random things but if you sit in the front and pay attention you will remember it more and he may or may not add random knowledge to the tests. Going to class is not mandatory but I would recommend it.

He's very honest about what he expects from students. Tells you for the most part what will be on the test and includes free questions that you get if you go to lecture. Lecture was very interesting and I rarely felt bored. This class requires a lot of effort but if you put in the work you can get a good grade.

Honestly, I don't understand the hate that Bob gets. People say he doesn't teach... but he does. Yes you have to read the textbooks and do extra practice problems... it's an important class for the premajor. Super easy to get 100% on excel project. Just read the textbooks and practice problems over and over again and you'll be fine

Chilling the whole quarter, got an 80 on the midterm. Final though was crazy hard, got cooked bad will be switching majors next year. Econ dep just likes to play with your booty. Go to lecture he puts random facts about himself on the tests. Study all you want you cooked either way fam.

Go to class!!! Really tough class, but so much of the material comes from lectures rather than the textbook. Really passionate and interesting professor, but a really tough class
