2 papers no midterm no final. Took him a MONTH to get back the first paper (week 9) and he said he took it easy on us. Got a B-, worked my butt off, and made the corrections he said to in office hours. B freaking minus. Don't take. He's unclear, unhelpful, and his lectures are spectacularly boring. Furthermore, rude when approached, unprofessional.
Knows his stuff. Would not recommend his class for anyone not majoring in Philosophy, as it takes someone truly interested to pass.
I had him for 100A as well, he is an awesome professor. Readings were a bit long. Attendance wasn't mandatory, but extremely helpful. He goes into detail and you will be able to take all your notes or cover anything you missed. Two papers only. Topics of your choice. Oh an no textbook! PDFs all online. One of the few classes I have actually enjoyed
Very understandable and well prepared.
two papers, 50% each; and he's a very hard grader on them.

the class was really interesting. you need to be alert for the lectures to follow along. you can get by without reading as long as you take good notes. everything on the test is strait from lecture.
Great teacher. You have to keep up with the reading, but his classes are not hard. He is very good at letting you know what you need to know. Explains things very well. His lectures are actually helpful. Very nice and approachable. Willing to help.
He's really cool...he has goo lectures and I thought he was very interesting.. sometimes you can get a little lost if you don't read the material...just keep up on the readings and it's all good.
he repeats everything like 4 times. this could be very good for some people who don't get it the first and people who don't read, but if you do the reading and understand it gets boring very fast.
Great at reconstructing argument. Clear about his point, and does an excellent job answering student's questions
Excellent lecturer, funny, interesting material, cares about students
