Love Nicole!! She is so sweet and genuine and wants everyone to do well. She does not put letter grades on your work, she accepts it or declines it. She gives you a sheet of paper stating everything you need to achieve an A, B, or C. She gives amazing feedback to better your writing. She is understanding and really wants her students to do well.

Professor Warwick is super approacheable!!! I had her for Writing 1 in the winter quarter, and I honestly think that she is the best UCSB Professor!! She is very accessible outside of her class through ZOOM. She also provided a grading contract which allows students to try their best potentials. She is always caring for her student, I love her!!

Professor Warwick genuinely cares about her students. The class centers around a research project which seems intimidating at first but the way it is set up allows you to really appreciate the research process. The grading contract provides peace of mind and the freedom to put in more work for a grade boost. Highly recommend.

Professor Warwick is the best professor I have ever had here at UCSB. She has also helped me improve my writing more than any other teacher I have ever had. Her class gives you a lot of freedom which makes improving your writing seem easy. I have already used skills and methods from this course in other classes, and my TA's have praised them. No TB

Nicole is fantastic. Best professor I have had at UCSB. She genuinely cares about her students and teaches in a way that really allows you to learn without stressing about your grade. Grading is based on a contract. Do the assignments (which are not difficult & often fun to do) and you will get a good grade.

This was such a great class that really helped me learn how to do a research project. Warwick is an amazing teacher who is really understanding and is there for her students. The grading was based on a contract so as long as you do all the things on the contract for a grade that is the grade you will get, which took away a lot of pressure

Warwick is really nice and helpful. There are 3 main papers which she helps a lot with and encourages students to visit during office hours for additional help. There are also reading and response assignments but those aren't too difficult.
