Great class, great prof, im sad its over!

Great class, great professor. She uses heaps of video clips so it's easy to pay attention, the material's interesting, she's funny, the tests are easy, and there's no mandatory reading. Take this class!

This is the best class I've taken as UCSB by far. The class is really fun and interesting, She gives you lots of videos to look at which helps you remember things much better than pages of notes, and her exams are very fair and shes very approachable. Take this class if you can! I just wish she took more classes.

Prof. German was extremely good. She is very organized and puts up lecture notes long before class which is helpful. She want s students to perform well and is very helpful. Her tests are a little hard, but if you read, attend class, and use lecture notes you should do good. I looked forward to her class every day. Great teacher!

Its no professor Tamsin German. She is amazingly easy and chill and flat out cool. Doesn't over exert herself or the material in class. Lets you out early. Gave a take-home exam. Cancelled numerous classes. Very nice and helpful. Take her if you want an easy chill class that she makes interesting with lectures. I took it in the summer

He's got the best accent, video clips and powerpoint presentations. He writes the midterm and final mostly on lecture (85% of it to be exact). Gives an outlined study sheet a week before the exam... and really knows his stuff. Class was worth my summer. Highly recommended.

This class was most enjoyable. If you are interested in taking a class that delves deeper into coginitive development, this is the class for you. I was intrigued by the learining material every class. German has a great teaching style and make every class worth attending.

I was kind of disappointed by this class, but maybe it's because I'm almost done with the pysch major and the challenge just wasn't there in an intro class. Overall, the class was interesting, but it's more enjoyable if you're a freshman or sophomore psych major.

this class seems easier than it is! Follow along in class...go to lectures! His TA was NOT HELPFULLLLL at all!!! His office hours are also pointless!! be aware..........

He's cool. Go to class, it's not boring, and the test questions come directly from lectures. As long as you don't fall asleep, as long as you pay attention, you WILL get an A on the tests! I promise!

i thought this class should have been more interesting than it was. class is easy enough, but material lags. teacher is good, sometimes confusing, but gets the point across...recommended if you want an easy psych class, not recommended if you want an exciting psych class!

he is very smart and articulate in speaking, very british, his test questions are asked in an articulate way also be prepared to understand what hes asking. he says the word habituation all the time know that term. haha

Amazing teacher! It's well organized and interesting. He knows his stuff, and is really helpful with answering questions. Plus, he knows how to engage college students with modernizing the psych experiments (like using South Park characters!).

This man has AWESOME presentations and is incredibly well organized and prepared for class. He even keeps his presentations online so you can come to class ready for extraneous notes. He has a GREAT attitude and is pretty patient and polite with the two dumbasses who asks dumb questions every class

Easy class, lecture is easy to follow and tests are fairly simple and mostly based on lecture. Highly recommended!!

Dr. German is great. This is the second class that I have had with him. He always has powerpoints on the web before class to print out. His lectures are clear and interesting. I really advise that anyone who is interested in child development to take this class.

Was not helpful at all when going to Office Hours. In fact he gave me an attitude. Was really disappointed by his attitude toward helping students in office hours. Luckily the class had a good TA and she was helpful.

HORRIBLE! I agree...I was a psych major and i changed majors cause i hated his class. ugh...avoid him at all costs...

Great class. Teachers used power point slides that were VERY clear and helpful. Fun and intersting lectures. Fair tests.

I don't know what the last rater's problem is. I thought this was a great class, and the prof was really helpful in office hours.

HORRID HORRID HORRID teacher. avoid at all costs. stutters like crazy, gives off the appearance that he has no idea what he's even teaching. AWFUL. i couldn't wait to get out of this class. made me not want to be a psych major anymore. TERRIBLE!!!!!
