Very intelligent, but very hard to understand what he is saying. Hours of reading notes due in section. Must do all of the readings if you want to get about a B on the tests. Just make sure to talk a lot in section and maybe go to your TA's office hours.
He seems very knowledgeable in the field, and he picked relevant (though perhaps excessive) articles for our reader, but lectures were a struggle with his thick Dutch accent... He didn't know how to make a powerpoint, so lectures were presented in bullet-point Word documents, except without the bullet points, and sometimes with tables/charts.
