Great profesor with easy to do papers, and very nice with grades.
Christene is the best writing professor I've ever met. Her lectures sare interesting, the expectations are clear, and she is super supportive.
Professor D'anca is a 10/10 professor. There are alot of reading to do, but that is counter acted by her nice grading policy. Attendance is mandatory but it is recommended since she is a nice lecturer. Made the class more intresting than it should be.
I take her writing 2 2023 fall. Professor D'anca is definitely a nice professor. She gives a lot of homework but there isn't any test. Her grading policy's great and as long as you keep doing your work you're gonna get a decent score. Attendance is mandatory. She kinda memorizes everybody's name and that's cool. I sat near the wall and the window.
Professor D'Anca is the best writing professor I've ever had! She demonstrates a huge amount of care and support for her students' success. The grades are fair and you are graded based on your improvement.
I love this professor so much. She assigned a lot of papers but many were just meant to build you up to the "real" paper which I thought was very nice and made everything a lot less stressful. Her outfits slayed everyday fr.
D'Anca is super accessible, you can always email her about questions/concerns. She grades really nicely, and as long as you try on your assignments you'll do well :D
While I was not too fond of the content of WRIT 2, Professor D'Anca is fantastic. She's very understanding, clear about her expectations, and super accessible for feedback and help. The class is a lot of writing but it's manageable since she breaks each assignment into different parts. I would seriously recommend her.
I've never been good at writing and I was intimidated by this class. But Professor D'anca made it very accessible. She broke down the larger assignments into smaller pieces so we can understand the steps we need to create a piece of writing whether it's an essay, email or something else. She is also very kind and likes to help during office hours.
This class will make you feel like you're back in middle school learning about what a genre is and what evidence is. A lot of assignments, really long and boring lectures. Overall okay class.
She is honestly really nice and motivating! As long as youre actively trying in your assignments youll do well; she mainly checks for completion. The way she has set up the class makes it clear that her goal is to set you up for success in improving your writing and not to be a harsh critic.
D'Anca is a very nice professor! She explains things well and is fairly understanding. I asked for an extension on one of the papers and she extended my deadline for a few days. There is a lot of assignments/reading per week, however she mostly grades on completion so as long as what you submitted made sense, you'll get an A, just don't fall behind
It's a lot of work but just stay on top of your work during the week, I like the way she splits up the time for each assignment to make the workload easier in the long run.
She is a good instructor. Pretty funny. There are three major projects and a final project. You will have to do writing every day but she is super helpful and kind. Dont miss class or turn stuff in late or your grade will go down.
I was hesitant to take this course because I didnt think I would like any of the readings, but Professor DAnca really made them interesting. Her lectures were enjoyable and fun and her weekly discussion prompts seemed relevant. There was no busy work. Everything was straightforward, including the final and final paper.
When she said on the first day that we would improve our French I didnt believe her. I couldnt even understand her because she said it in French. But ten weeks later and sure enough my French is so much better!! She is also really fun in the classroom. She is clearly excited to teach and she does everything to make sure you understand.
She is an awesome TA, but from talking to friends she grades harder than the other TAs. She is passionate, and teaches to the fullest, but she really expects a lot. I know she doesn't pick our books, or assignments, but I think her bar is way too high. No one in the class is a lit major, but she expects us to read and understand like we are.
Christine is super friendly and helpful. SO MUCH ENERGY!! She really wants you to learn the material and she knows her stuff. She will be there to help you, but if you don't learn she is a hard grader and you will feel it. READ!!! Really interesting powerpoints with scientific studies and real world applications of the concepts from lecture.
