Carla really is the best. She will learn your name and keep you entertained all quarter.
She's so sweet and nice, very enthusiastic and interesting. Is very interested in the students. She talks a little fast sometimes, but you can still understand the class. Great professor.
She is so nice and so cute and funny! take this class its good!
Love love love this professor! She is so cute and fun. She really made Italian enjoyable and teaches you a lot about the language as well as the culture.
very nice professor! : )
very approachable and willing to answer any questions. classroom atmosphere was encouraging and relaxed
Tiziana is just wonderful, and hot too!! :-)
Very helpfull in class and knowledgable about Italian
great prof. really made the class.
She teaches really well and employs useful teaching methods such as partner activities. She's really nice and very approachable.
She's a really sweet lady. Very amusing and her accent is adorable. She will do her best to help you no matter what problems you're having. Very understanding. Some sadly take advantage of how nice she is. Highly recommend.
She was great! She made class really fun and made sure everyone understood the material. She makes it difficult enough where you learn the material, but doesn't give out busy work and is very flexible
Tiziana was one of the best teachers I have ever had. I would recommend her for beginners.
She seems very sweet and always answers everyone's questions in class. My one gripe is that for every class you miss after 3, you lose 1/3 a letter grade per day. With 40+ classes per quarter that policy seems very strict. Comunque grazie mille Tiziana!
Tiziana is a caring and understanding professor who sets high standards for language proficiency.
Fun class, as are most of the elementary Italian courses. Just do the reading and study for the quizzes and you'll pass.
She was a great professor, she made the class very interesting and was very clear and helpful in explaining any concepts we did not understand. There are 5 quizzes, however, but as long as you prepare for them, they're not too tricky. Classes are small so attendance is mandatory, but you can skip 3 classes before being marked down.
Past tense grammar was difficult, but that is told by prof. She helps and will do what she can without giving the answers directly
She is so kind. Her explanations are clear and she makes sure to do constant reviews that make sure that you don't get left behind when it comes to the course materials. I've had her for both Italian 1 and 2. She is a great professor!
Tiziana is simply lovely! She is friendly, welcoming, funny, and flexible. She is from Italy and maintains her easygoing Italian demeanor. She is an easy grader; just go to class, do the homework, and be prepared for the easy pop quizzes. She gives hints as to when the pop quizzes are and gives comprehensive study guides for the tests. Easy class!
She is really nice and funny and tries to get everyone in the class involved. BUT her accent is very strong and she speaks very quickly so sometimes it was almost impossible to understand her. She would bounce from topic to topic so fast that it was often hard to figure out what we were even learning about.
She is the best Italian teacher that I've had! She reviews material when asked and is not mean about it. She genuinely wants you to understand everything and if you need help she is always in her office during office hours. Not only is she accessible on campus she responds to emails promptly. If I had her for ITAL 1&2 I would have done much better.
I took Ital 1 & 2 and Aced them both until I got to Ital 3 with Tizana- she is so unclear, not interested in explaining it better to you. If your going to take italian take it with another teacher, I am an A student and I ended up with a B in the class because the teacher. She reads straight from the book- aka there is NO point in going to class!!!
Tiziana is super nice, but I didn't really like the curriculum of Italian 4. It's essentially a more in depth review of Italian 1, with some more useless stuff in the mix too. It was my first language class coming back from study abroad in Italy, where I took 1-3. She is very helpful, but if you wanna learn Italian you should just go abroad!!!
