good professor but even better class; really interesting but goes into a lot of detail
Evoltionary Medicine is a great class. It's a college of creative studies class but is open to all students. IT is taught by Armand, Bob Warner and Bill Meller. The three of them interact well together are are all brilliant men and great teachers. The class is small, discussion based and well worth it.
Armand is one of the best professors I have had. He is very helpful and very interesting. Parasitology was the most interesting class I ever took and I'm sad to see it end. The lab practicals are hard, but if you put a lot of time in studying, you'll do fine, and I'm glad they were hard because it makes you really have to learn it.

The parasite lab kicked my a$$! I've never had to work so hard.....but THE most interesting course I took at UCSB. Armand is an aweseome guy...very friends and loves his work and his students.
Cool prof
I love his classes, they are hard but super-interesting, totally worth it. The TA's are awesome and Armand has some great stories. The field trips are the coolest. I'll give him a pepper, what the hell, his shorty wet suit is pretty awesome.
This class was sooo interesting, but hard at the same time. You have to know every parasite known to man! Definately take the class though: the TA's are awesome and it's worth the work.

Armand is one real cool professor. He make learning fun and devoted to helping students. He even made me interested in something as sicko as parasatalogy. And he is good looking!!!
