Easy class, Never went to any classes, just went over the notes and some flash cards some girls has made the qt before, Section is dumb, and worth pts so you have to goto hell for 50 minutes a week, in which you won't learn anything but peoples thoughts.

SO EASY, JUST NEED TO READ HER BOOK. GO TO HER LECTURE, LOOK OVER THE NOTES BEFORE TEST. THEN YOU ARE ALL SET. EASY A CLASS.

Easy class, overheads were easy to follow and explains them. may be hard to understand at times but for the most part you get the gist of what she's saying. easy quiz from class lecture and books.

Very nice professor. Go to office hours! She is very helpful. Her accent is hard to understand at times, but pay attention to the powerpoints. All the info you need for midterm and final is there. Some questions on the books, but easy. Great class!

if you ever get TA Armstrong... run.... as fast as your little legs will carry you! worst TA EVER. He LOOOOOOVES saying "well... this is NOT my 'area of expertise...'" and "'well...lemme play devil's advocate...'" he is USELESS

She's really nice. I don't think her accent is bad. Her lectures are long and extremely boring. Don't listen to a word she says (she's confusing and gives too much info). It's all in the slides/books. Class was really easy. She's just there.

she is a terrific person, but her lectures are hard to understand because of her accent. Her thick accent makes it confusing to write down notes, but her power points are pretty useful. The course material is very interesting, but her final is way hard...

Relatively easy class as long as you go to all the lectures and disucussions. lot of reading but not really necessary if you have a decent TA.

really nice professor but it's really hard to stay awake in that class. Get a good TA b/c mine was horrible and didn't help at all. easy to follow lectures. not that much E.C. you definitely have to like history too.

Zhao is a really nice Prof...cares for the input of students...but u better get a good TA cuz everything depends on them...i had a crappy one so section ****in sucked...but good class overall if u dont **** on asian american history

Easy class over all, must go to sections (there's quizzes sometimes and the TA's talk about the reading) but it's a pain to understand her because of her thick and strong accent. You better have patience when it comes to listening in this class.

she's pretty good~ very easy and the class's pretty interesting. Couple films (full length!), no paper, lots extra credit, sections are must go's (tests in sections), and i learn a LOT from her. Good class, take her!!!

Easy class - powerPoint lectures, straightforward exams, and no papers. Section grade depends on a fair amount of reading, but it's pretty easy history stuff. Basically, just do the reading and you'll be fine...

Interesting and cool. Tries hard to keep her students interested and teaches alot of cool stuff.

She is nice, but it's just hard to keep myself awake in her class.
