Professor Stevens led a fantastic course and I will miss her lectures. It was clear Hannah is well-versed in the class material, her passion and knowledge on the subject matter was reflected in her classes. Being a new and young professor she can be strict, students are required to use an iClicker in her class and attendence is mandatory.

iClicker was NOT helpful, but the class was easy enough.

she was weird, I would honestly not recommend her to anyone. I never write reviews, but I had to for her. her tests were hard, she cancelled class day of, attendance was required. not only would she go so fast during lecture, she would read write off the board. like???? how does this help, I could have read the textbook and been set. AVOID HER

I didn't like that she requires iClicker attendance but the class was easy enough. Some test questions are tricky but she will drop questions that are tricky.

Very questionable and inefficient teaching strategy. Content was not very informative on the subject, just a direct regurgitation of the textbook. Prof seems confused and not familiar with technology, leading to numerous miscommunications in class. Easy enough class, just not worth the headache. Not a UC-worthy class but prof does mean well.

Had prof. Stevens for half of the quarter before she left due to personal reasons. Class was really easy but her lectures were pretty boring bc she just reads off the slides. Iclicker was kind of annoying. Other than that she was nice. Concepts are easy to understand, attendance and stuff are required but lenient. Not hard to get a good grade.

Guys do not take this class as a GE unless you really have to. THIS IS A WARNING. This class is very difficult and so is the professor. Iclicker is insane and she'll make your quarter miserable.

I found her lectures very frustrating. She reads almost verbatim off of the slides, rarely adding anything. I also think her iClicker questions waste a lot of class time and do not provide much.

Uses Iclicker and attendence is mandatory. Lectures based off of the texbook which she reads off of the PowerPoints which notes are taken off of. Lecture heavy and the 3 exams were sort of difficult and she seemed very disorganized. For finals, we had a presentation at the end on our assigned final day on the project we worked on all quarter.
