She's an awesome professor and she is really into what she does. She's passionate about her profession and I think she's really good at explaining everything. And to top it off she's not that hard of a grader.
Great teacher, if you haven't taken a class with her take on. She is very helpful and lenient. She wants you to understand the material, thats her goal

One of the best professors I have ever had. She is really passionate about law and politics. Makes everything really easy to understand and her tests are not hard. Extremely interesting lectures and she is very funny. I love her.
She's one of my favorite teachers at UCSB. I had her for LS 173, LS 151.. and I'm about to have her again for LS 112. I've probably been to ten classes total, but I got an A in all of them. She knows how to teach REALLY well, and she's pretty easy.
Great professor. Really intelligent and passionate about law. Her classes are so easy. You write a few response papers to show you did the reading and know what's going on and you're bound to get an A.

She is one of the best professors in the Lawso Department here at UCSB. Definately take a course with her. She is fairly easy but really makes you think. Go to class!!
Papers and presentations. Readings are good and informative. Do the readings and talk in class. Go to office hours, she is a very knowlegable professor. Hot too.

Class was not demanding so it let grasp the important issues rather than worrying about some stupid midterm/final. Learned/learin a wealth from her; very relaxed and ties in law with the rest of the world rather than isolating it as an issue in the US.

Doesn't believe in exams. She knows what she's talking about. Talks like a machine gun! Occasionally relates stories to personal life. Funny gal!

Professor Hajjar has been such an amazing professor that I am taking another class with her next quarter. She really cares about her students and the material, and is one of the most knowledgeable academics I've ever met. Her class is easy if you show up and at least try to succeed on the papers (3 pages) and tests, each of which there were two.
She was a great professor with so much knowledge. It was so great to take her class and I am so honored to have learned from her. She lectures very well - makes it interesting. A lot of reading but the lectures analyze the readings. Midterm and Final and 2 short papers
She will answer any questions and is not hard to work with. 2 tests 1-2 papers, and she gives plenty of information to write about for papers, so they aren't complicated. My favorite part of how her class is structured is that her lectures cover her readings, so they are clearly spelled out for you. very passionate but kinda dense lectures.
The fact that this professor teaches human rights, gets spits in the face of it, is appalling. The fact she is still teaching is a horrible reflection of the school. Shame on all parties.
I'm taking a course from her at American University of Beirut and she's great! The topic (Torture, Law and Human rights) is so current and she is an authority on it. Great Professor, great course.
Wonderful professor!!! I really enjoyed the lectures and wanted to come hear her speak. You MUST do the readings for the quizzes or you will fail them, but many of the readings have shorter versions on Wikipedia (very helpful if you run out of time). Having an easier TA is completely necessary: Linthi****is the best.

She's so awesome! It was one of the first classes that I ever started to get interested in. She sparked my interest in International Human Rights Law and She's funny, friendly, and easy to talk to.
