He makes the class interesting and he's pretty easy, as long as you go to class and do somewhat of the readings. He understands the student's position and tries to be helpful to them by not making the workload too crazy.

Busto is one of the best professors at UCSB. I was intimidated by the class material at first, but he makes everything extremely interesting and easy to understand. Also, his tests are VERY fair. He gives you a thorough study guide with everything you need to know for the tests. The paper isn't too bad. Overall, I recommend you take this class!

Busto is the most interesting lecturer I've had here at UCSB in four years. He is not only interesting, but he skips the jargon and makes the lecture more like a class discussion. The readings he chooses are interesting and the test are very fair. Just remember to GO to CLASS!!

Awesome teacher! extremely helpful. Although he's super busy, he is more than wliling to help you, and he makes it perfectly clear what he's looking for. This guy commutes from San Fransisco, how hardcore is that! He's funny and extremly smart, all his classes are worthwhile.

This is one of the best professors at UCSB. He is really interesting and if you follow his rules, he is an easy grader. He let us watch the South Park episode on mormonism. Can class get any better???

Interesting material, GREAT teacher. Doesn't believe in discussion sessions. Midterms easier than expected. Long essay not too difficult. Keeps class interesting. Best class I ever took.

i love this guy..you can really learn something in this class...its not boring at all ..he actually keep you awake despite how long the class is...and his midterms so far are easier than what i thought it would be...his expectations arent absurd at all!!
