Lang made this class so much more difficult than it should've been. I read and took notes on the entire textbook that Lang wrote, and doing assigned practice problems. However he made the final VERY DIFFICULT without providing any practice problems of similar difficulty. This class is going to tank my GPA, just take it at CC don't take Lang.

I loved his lectures, very nice and makes the content understandable. Attendance isn't mandatory but there is in class lecture questions. The Final however was extremely difficult for no reason and irrelevant to the information from lectures, practice tests, and final review. Walked in thinking I knew it all, walked out questioning my life choices.

He is friendly and a good lecturer, but the discussion activities and content he uploads online is quite irrelevant to the content we are tested on. Also, the final was MUCH more difficult than the midterm and practice exam. However, to compensate for this he curved up our overall grades.

Went to almost all of his office hours and had many opportunities to get to know him personally. If you don't have a strong economics foundation you will struggle to follow his lectures. Felt as though he did not prepare the class enough for the final exam.

Lang is a very friendly guy and he tries to make lectures interesting, but the way he lectures can be confusing and hard to follow. He uses this site called Tophat where you have to answer lecture questions for credit. The midterm was really easy, but the final was SO HARD and his practice questions were significantly easier :// so thats that

Professor Lang is an amazing professor! Go to his lectures, which are very engaging, and sections. Majority of grade is the exams but he is a fair tester and provides great practice. The project is on your own so DON'T PUT IT OFF TIL THE LAST WEEK. If you go to lectures and sections and are an active participant you will be successful in the class.

First midterm he gave us was chill and exactly like the practice midterm. Second midterm he gave us was unnecessarily long and nothing like the practice midterm. Final exam was quite challenging and final project was graded harshly despite being "easy points". He may seem like he cares about you at the beginning but don't be fooled.
