There is no way that you don't get As if you put your efforts in the class. Just do the homework and spend 15-20 min/day study the characters and you'll pretty much get 95+ on her exams.

She's a really good teacher. The class is a lot like high school in that you basically talk to everyone, it's a lot of fun. There are around 3 small quizzes a week and 5 big quizzes throughout the class. There is also a decent amount of homework daily, but I really enjoyed the class and learned a lot.

Really very nice and sweet lady! She "convinced" me to take 2nd tear chinese too! I wud really like her to teach chinese all through!

tries to help students as much as possible. makes corny jokes, but its cute. obviously hard because its learning a new language. but just study the characters & youll be fine. must do all assignments. must attend oral review sections for points also. overall pretty easy.

Sweet, sweet lady. Wonderful person and equally great teacher. Very uderstanding and also easy to understand. I dropped class, but not because of her at all. If you are going to take Chinese, definitely take her class.

professor makes it a fun class, knowledgeable teacher, just make sure you have an interest in learning the language!
