Easy if you do the readings and study for at least a day per test

He gets very grumpy when people try to leave lecture early in INT 95

This class was pointless but I mean easy A. Future FSSP sweeties, I am so sorry

CLASS40 . Gallucci R 7 Years Ago

Professor Gallucci is really nice, but his lectures are super boring. I tried so hard to pay attention but I could not listen to him. Maybe sitting in the front might help. The class was really easy. Honestly if you do all the readings you don't even have to go to lecture. Gives a decent amount of extra-credit too!

Lectures are pretty boring, but the content and tests are easy. Gallucci is a nice guy

CLASS20A . Gallucci R 7 Years Ago

Boring lectures but you don't have to go. Just show up for the few before the midterm/final and you'll be good to go. Two one-page essays that are worth 10% and he gives 10/10 on almost every paper. He gives study guides for tests, just study those and it's an easy A. Never read for this class either. No final because of the mudslides. Nice guy too

CLASSICS20A . Gallucci R 7 Years Ago

Gallucci is awesome. Lectures can be boring, but the guy knows his stuff. Definitely don't purchase the textbooks, I never opened them once and got an A. Tons of extra credit opportunities. I didn't have to take the final because of the fires and chose my midterm score as my final grade, so I can't speak for the final, but the midterm was easy.

CLASS50 . Gallucci R 8 Years Ago

Take this if you want an easy A, not if you want to learn. There are short lists of certain things you need to memorize but it's simple if you catch some of the few lecture slides he puts up briefly. Tests are multiple choice, super easy if you have a general grasp of the material & common sense. Boring lecturer & flaky during office hours.

INT95A . Gallucci R 8 Years Ago

Attend all class, do all the essays. They break down all the requirements of the class you need to get an A. It is very easy to slip up on the total requirements for the course, so always ask for clarification. If you miss too much class, just take it P/NP. FSSP was a great experience, the biggest reason not to do it is the cost.

CLASS55 . Gallucci R 8 Years Ago

Literally showed up Syllabus day, Midterm, and Final. Ended up getting a B+. 2 papers, midterm, final. His tests are all multiple choice. Fairly easy material if you do the reading.

CLASS40 . Gallucci R 8 Years Ago

Easiest course at the university. Either pay attention to the lectures or crack open the textbook. Your grade consists of one paper (1000 words), a midterm, a final, weekly quizzes and section attendance. There are 2 extra credit opportunities too. Gallucci is a bit dry but the class is interesting.

CLASS40 . Gallucci R 8 Years Ago

He's a very knowledgeable professor, though his lectures can feel a little bit dry, especially four days per week in a row as during FSSP. He cares about his students about as much as possible though and getting an A is really easy if you go to his review session and follow the checklists and vocabulary.

CLASS40 . Gallucci R 8 Years Ago

Gallucci's really accessible during office hours but his lectures put just about everybody. You don't have to buy Powell (I did and never read any of the chapters) There are so many quizlets about the stories just flip through those cards during lecture- it's a better use of your time and his monotone voice is the best to help you focus.

CLAS40 . Gallucci R 8 Years Ago

I took this class because I read online that it was going to be an easy A and fill a gen ed. However, I was talked to sleep in every lecture I went to because his voice is the most monotone voice to ever exist. It really wasn't that hard of a class, but trying to learn information from the professor was impossible. I had to teach myself. It sucked

CLASS40 . Gallucci R 8 Years Ago

For future FSSP students, I would recommend reading the book. Yes, sometimes it's hard to focus in lectures, but Gallucci is a great person and clearly cares about his students. The class itself isn't difficult if you just read the book daily, which is like 20-30 pages a day. Your friends will panic the night before a test but you'll be cruising.

CLA40 . Gallucci R 8 Years Ago

Gallucci is the typical dreaded lecturer: he is monotone, drones on, and often loses his train of thought. Honestly, I am a good student but making it through is lectures was tough. BUT when I talked to him outside of class he is crazy nice and really cares about his students succeeding. You can make it through the class just reading the book

CLASS40 . Gallucci R 8 Years Ago

Not a challenging course, but a lot of work. If you do the reading and take some notes you're guaranteed an 'A'. It's practically impossible to stay focused in lecture. He gives out some extra credit and a free 10-20 % of the midterm and final in advance.

CLASS50 . Gallucci R 8 Years Ago

Class was boring. Textbook was expensive but you needed the pictures inside for tests. This class was such a drag, but if you study the tests are doable and the extra credit is about 10%. Can't hate him though because he gave me an A for talking to him and playing a sport. His classes are usually easy As but this one was slightly harder. slightly

CLASS80B . Gallucci R 8 Years Ago

Easy yet interesting class, Lectures/reading aren't necessary. Just read the study guide and watch the in-class movies.

CLASS20A . Gallucci R 8 Years Ago

Gallucci is a very fair and kind professor! He understands that students usually won't retain that much information in a GE class and basically gives you all the main points for each book we read/point in history we go over. The tests are easy as pie because he gives study guides and goes over everything in lecture.

CLASS20A . Gallucci R 8 Years Ago

Easy to get lost in his voice because he doesn't use power points. But, everything mentioned in lecture will be on the test. Just make sure to take notes of everything he says and you'll be fine. He really cares about his students. It's easy to get distracted by internet/social media in his class, so just make sure to STAY FOCUSED and TAKE NOTES.

CLASS40 . Gallucci R 9 Years Ago

He truly cares about his students and wants everybody to get an A. You can either read or attend lecture, but doing both is a little redundant. Incredibly easy extra credit assignment that raises your grade by 1.75%: DO IT! Easy to drone out what he's saying. If you stay off reddit during class you should get an A.
