Grade homework with his own opinion. awful and bad. JUST RUN

Very easy grading, but this is the only reason I'm giving a 4. He forgot to post the instructions or the assignments so many times and the essay prompts were GTP-generated. And the instructions were not clear either bc there was one time when everyone did the assignment wrong. Avoid the asynchronous version of this class.

I am not a good writer, but Amy is not a tough grader, she wants to see your improvement based on her teaching. Workload is not light but manageable.

Just choose Prof other than her.

Keith is nice and I learned a lot from his class. He gives three to five short video lectures per week, which are shorter than 10 mintunets. There is no live lecture or section. Easy quizzes every two weeks. Lots of homework but only grade on completion. Two paper counts for 60% but he gives almost all students 90% or higher grades.

Very nice teacher, and very kind on grading

Amy is so sweet, and she is always willing to help the students. Be prepare to write a lot. This class is not an easy A, but if you work hard, its still doable. The contents in Amys class are interesting and helpful. Ive definitely learned a lot.

She is really sweet. Always give helpful feedback and be willing to help. It can be seen through her lectures that she really wants her students to make progress. Most importantly, shes not a tough grader.

Amy is super sweet and caring. Although there are many homework, she usually does not take DDL very strictly as soon as you explained to her. The feedback is detailed and helpful.

She was a good teacher in class. However, she was not responsible and fair when she graded. She made her decision too subjectively and did not care about how much effort I made for the essay. Most of her grading criteria is the relationship between the student and her. Going to office hour and wechat her frequently is an effective way to make it.

Amy is definitely the best teacher in the writing program! She gives great feedback as well as heavy homework but it helps you improve a lot. I would like to take her class again if I have a chance. Strongly Recommend!

Amy is one of the best Linguistics instructors at UCSB. I have learnt a lot of writing strategies in ling12. Although I spent a large amount of time in writing and revising paper, it definitely helped me a lot in writing process.

I had him for both 3C and 12 and feel so sad that I cant have him again. He gives all reasonable grades on essay and stuff. And he really wants people to talk in his class, he even gives like 10% of participation point just for you to talk! Just go ahead and enjoy Coronas class!

Keith Corona is a great professor who cares about your improvement in English but not grades. He is kind and reasonable!!

She only uses old videos. Even though I learned a lot, she assigned a lot of unnecessary work to do, and it is just a waste of time. She has a really good sense of herself that she unconsciously makes us praise her in our homework every week. Just avoid her, it is just an easy writing course. You don't have to do that much.
