Excellent professor. You can tell he's starting out, but very encouraging

Professor Moak is highly knowledgeable and extremely kind. This was his first time teaching this course, so he had a learning curve, but he definitely engaged me in the material

Prof Moak lacks a focus for all of his slides and his case studies fail to actually reinforce the point he's trying to make. There is no need to include huge chunks of text from the book (we all own the book too!) to "cite your sources", a powerpoint isn't an essay. His lecture slides are super dense but not helpful at all.

This class was harder than my ochem class LMFAO. You would think a Princeton degree would teach you how to make proper powerpoints but nope, lets just copy paste the textbook onto slides anyway and refute everything that was said in the book. No organization and proper resources were given to us in this class to succeed

Professor Moak is highly knowledgeable & you can tell he genuinely enjoys the material. However he does not do a great job of delivering it. His slides are super packed with words and mostly quotes directly from the text. Lecture can get boring hes a bit monotone but the material is interesting

His slides are terrible. They look like whole articles shrunken to fit onto the screen, & you can barely read them. He also doesn't post notes beforehand (he does it after class) which doesn't make sense bc no one is able to follow along. EVERY ppt slide ends with him saying "however, I disagree with this bc..." therefore refuting the whole thing.

This class is awful. His power point slides are very bad. He just copy pastes the book into his slides and rambles on about what HE thinks is correct. Doesnt make it clear what is important so it's basically impossible to study for this class

This was professor Moaks first time teaching the class so he was def not perfect. However, his class is extremely easy if you just show up to lecture and listen. Literally the readings are not needed and if you find him boring, all you need is a good TA. 1 take home midterm, 3 quizzes, section, and mc final. An easy class to pass trust me.

Copies and pastes paragraph from the readings onto the slides. He then refutes everything the reading says and tries to convince the class that what he thinks is correct. Make sure to bring your glasses to lecture so you can read the size 6 font he uses on his slides. Not a global studies class and lacks cohesiveness.

Professor Moak copies and pastes paragraphs into his lecture slides, often just quotes from people. There is so much small text on the slides that you can't read from the back of the class. He also reads of the slides. Pretty sure I learned in middle school how to create a better powerpoint than these. The readings are incredibly dense.
