I'd have to say she's one of the best professors here at UCSB. She is extremely helpful and will answer any questions. Very qualified and learned in what she does. Amazing scholar who runs a fair, & VERY interesting class.Take anything you can with her.

Okay class. Fair tests and good lectures. Used powerpoint and posted her lecture notes on the web. A little boring if you aren't into Religious Studies, but she made it bareable.

I had Professor Thomas for the Teachings of Jesus class. It was very interesting and fun, there were no papers: just a midterma and a take home final. She was very informative and interested in our opinions and always took the time to answer our Qs

She knows what she's talking about and presents the material in a very interesting and straightforward way. The only reason this class is easy is because she makes it easy to learn.

Great teacher! She makes everything so interesting to learn. I thought this course was going to be a little boring, but she made the class fly by.

I recommend you take any class with her. She is very intelligent in the matters she discusses. She has online notes which are extremely helpful to study for exams. The course was not that difficult, but I learned a lot as well. I recommend her!
