Best class I have ever taken. such an awesome teacher and person. you actually do something that is like the real world. he transformed the way i think.

Made writing 50E a fun breeze as opposed to a painful torment. Super chill, minimum workload outside of the main paper that is basically the entire class. Organized a field trip to a local company in Goleta working on an electric vehicle prototype. At end of quarter had everyone grade themselves and their team members, easy A+ and always happy

Great Professor. Probably one of the nicest and easiest going professor you will find. Not really clear with his instructions, but that is because he gives you the freedom to write about things that you are interested in. Really enjoyed his class

Best teacher ever. Made a boring mandatory writing class fun and manageable. Played flash games most of class, but still managed to learn quite a bit. Nearly no writing assignments, and grades easy. Also shows some interesting contemporary youtube videos.

Probably one of the best profs you'll have. Seriously, especially if you're taking him for the pesky writing GE, chose this guy. He's really helpful, approachable, flexible with the paper topic, cares about your interests and seems to really want his students to succeed. I was terrified of this class; Peter made it way better than bearable.

Although the class seemed to drag along in the beginning, I ended up enjoying it. Helpful in office hours and willing to read over your rough drafts...an easy A

Although there were some dumb classmates that made the class awkward, the prof did a good job of teaching us style and different academic modes. This will help my research skills tremendously. I loved every class!

i feel like i have to dumb down my papers for him. I'm surprised that the reactions other students gave but in my class he is unclear about everything and can't handled stylized writing. he is wasting my time and writing abilities

Very intelligent and helpful guy. He made this mandatory class tolerable. Definitely take a class with him. He's also not bad to look at.

Huk is geat. He is always willing to help and a was a very man. One of the greatest professors in the writing wepartment.

He is very chill. There are 3 papers and if you don't get the grade you want he will let you fix it and turn it in again for a better grade!

Prof. Huk is a great guy. He always makes clear what you need to do in order to get the grade you want. Though sitting through his classes can be a bit boring, the class is really easy. I got an A and I don't consider myself to be a great writer.

He is amazing.

Professor Huk is really laid back, his paper topics are fairly easy and he tries to keep them interesting. what makes him especially easy is you could correct and turn in a paper as many times as you want to get the grade you want. the only bad thing is he is kind of boring and sometimes monotone.

Professor Huk is the man!!! He is very relaxed and interested in many different topics. He discusses current events and is an awesome teacher
