This class was pretty easy, and the material was fairly interesting. The textbook readings are helpful, but they arent necessary if you show up to lecture because she presents everything you need to know. She posts images of all art pieces that could show up on the midterm and final on gaucho space. Overall, she is a great professor.

Class is easy if you go to lecture and read the textbook. The problem is that the textbook is boring to read and she covers the reading in lecture anyway. There is one paper, but it is graded easily. She is really involved in the lectures which is good. The final covers a lot of information but shouldn't be too bad.

Professor Moser is a really great professor. You can tell she is interested in what she is lecturing on, which makes it interesting. Very willing to help.

Professor Moser is really nice and passionate about her teaching, but this class is RIDICULOUS for a GE. I changed my grade to P/NP after the midterm because I was stressing myself out/putting more energy into this GE than into my actual major/my upper div courses. Prof. Moser and her Tas expect way too much out of students for this to be a GE.

Grade is based off of improvement between midterm, final, and paper (and a few easy section assignments). The lectures could be a bit boring at times, but for the most part I found the class to be pretty interesting. Slides are not posted online and there are clicker questions so you shouldn't miss. Tests are frq.

Prof Moser is approachable and friendly. She is very helpful during office hours. Although her lectures can be a bit dry sometimes, most of the time, the material is interesting! Go to lecture!! She doesn't post her slides online, so taking good notes will really help you on the paper, midterm, and final.

Prof. Moser is really enthusiastic about course material and her iClicker questions are easy to answer. The midterm and final reviews should help a lot. Section hw due weekly, but other than that there is only one paper that is a creative writing assignment. Grades are based on improvement. Her lectures are informative and clear

Professor Moser is really into what she's teaching, she asks a lot of rhetorical questions, & always starts class with clicker questions Her lectures are interesting but can drag on. I enjoyed her class and the art history department in general is amazing. She tells you everything you need to know for the midterm and final & grades on improvement

This is a great class! I am taking another art history class with this class at the same time and the contrast is sharp! She communicates her expectation very clearly and her lecture are easy to understand. She is an awesome person, too. ALso, the big paper is not a research paper which makes this wonderful for fulfilling writing requirement!!!

Do NOT take this class if not required to. Exams: timed slide identifications, map quiz, trick question multiple choice, and essay. She advertises that the exams are a breeze and that she will always provide the title and date of sculpture/temple and we need to just know details/what it means. Not true. I got a NP and I am mostly an A student.

Prof. Moser is really great and makes art history fun. If you write down info on the main pieces of art, you will do fine. She is very personable and knowledgeable on the subjects. Would recommend.

I loved this class! Professor Moser is really good and makes the class fun. Make sure you take good notes in her class because it'll help you on the midterm/final and on your paper. The TA's were really cool and there is homework each week for section. The textbook is helpful but she covers all of the important stuff in class.

make sure to take good note in class and study them for the midterm. For exams, the images are released a week before so students can study. No surprises for exams because you will be given things to study. Must put in effort. A good deal of memorization is involved. There is weekly section hw, but no a big deal.

Great Professors, but TA Chris Morales was awful and shouldn't be a TA. He treats students like they are stupid and even referred to the Professor and other TAs as incompetent when he wasn't even an Art History Grad student.

I loved this class and professor. Great GE. You definitely need to go to the lectures. By doing detailed notes from the textbook before every lecture, listening, and taking notes in lectures the tests were very easy.

She knows SO MUCH. I loved the times when she talked about archaeology the most, even though this was an art history class. I hope she teaches a straight archaeology class soon. I'd definately take that.

She's funny and had good lectures. I went to her office hours after the midterm because I didn't go well on it. She gave me some advice on how to study, so I did much better on the final and ended up getting an A in the class. She's really nice.

I love professor moser. She's totally into the material and made it fun. I learned a ton. Good way to knock out GEs.

She gave me a ton of help on my paper, and overall I thought the way she presented stuff in lectures made art history really fun. She knew a crazy amount about Rome especially, and she's an archaeologist (which was really cool) and so we got insight into what that was like. Loved her class. I want to take more art history classes now.

I mean, art history is art history. Pretty boring if you ask me, but some people get into it. The classes isn't really difficult, but I did spend a lot of time cramming for the midterm and final. Lectures are long and can be boring, but she does give good information and analysis. Take notes on each piece of artwork discussed. Makes studying easy.

Class is very long and sometimes extremely boring. Did not have to use the textbook once, except for gaining material for the tests which doesn't take much time at all. She's new, but she doesn't seem completely educated on the material as she looks down for info every slide. Take it if you took AP Art History in high school, and you'll be fine.
