Mechanical Engineering - ME

Drawing from classical journal articles from the scientific literature, thiis graduate course will review selected mathematical models used to predictthe dynamics of such geophysical flows, introduce available analytical solutions that provide useful insight in simplified cases, and numerical approaches to solve the corresponding partial differential equations and get useful insight for realistic scenarios. To best enjoy this course, a good background and enthusiasm for fluid mechanics, applied mathematics, and scientific computing is required.
