This graduate seminar examines key theoretical concepts in adaptation studies. Focusing on literature-to-film adaptation, FAMST 242AT takes a long-historical, diachronic approach to adaptation theory, engaging with classical and early modern thinking about imitatio as well as with contemporary theoretical arguments in the subject.
